Charles Causley's works are many and varied. Over a period of 50 years, he gained a reputation, not only as a major poet, but also as an editor of poetry collections, as a playwright and as a writer of prose.He also collaborated with composers to produce librettos and the setting of many poems to a musical score.

This bibliography is a work in progress and classifies the works as indicated by the links on the right hand side of this page.

In general, only first editions are listed. Subsequent editiona are included only if there are changes to the contents, particularly if there are new illustrations.

Causley was widely anthologised, and these anthologies are far too numerous to be listed. Only anthologies which have a small number of poets are included.
