Charles Causley Live at Church House, Westminster 14 September 1979 This 2 CD set was recorded at a live reading in 1979. There are a total of 20 poems, including the well known I Saw a Jolly Hunter, Ballad of the Bread Man, Mary, Mary Magdelene and Ten Types of Hospital Visitor. Also included are many asides by Charles in between the readings, and these comments add significantly to the enjoyment of the poems. The quality is excellent for an amateur recording. Included with each set is a copy of an inscription by Charles from a copy of Collected Poems. Each CD is numbered, and the release is limited to 100 sets.
